Today I went to a pre-pre-op, to meet the other Dr., that will be helping with my lap. We went over the consent form, and everything that can, might or will happen. I was asked about the possibility of removing parts of my reproductive organs if they were to badly diseased, and whether I'd like to be put in birth control after or before the procedure. I've done tons of research regarding endo and the surgerys that go with it, but I never thought I'd actually have to decide whether certain organs would be taken out of my body or not. It's such a scary thought going into the operating room with all of me, and coming out with less of me and possibly not being able to reproduce without assistance from a Dr.
