BBT too low?

I just started keeping track of my BBT this month.  My lowest tempature was 96.68.  I read somewhere that below 97 was too low and could effect fertility.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

Are they consistently low? Or do they go up as well? I read in Taking Charge of your Fertility that if they are consistently below 97.3 you could have hypo(?)thyroidism. Normal range pre-ovulation is 97-97.5 and then above 97.6 after ovulation. If you have concerns I would chart for a few months and then take it to your Dr. But random one off temps aren't a big deal. I think its the trend that matters.

Never heard of a temp being too low. .. I think 96-97 is normal for the follicular phase.
