Asprin & miscarriage prevention ???

I read an article the other day saying taking baby asprin could reduce miscarriage. ??? But isn't asprin bad to take while pregnant?  Anyone familiar with this?  Thanks much :)

Aspirin is a blood thinner. I know this because I've had four miscarriages and after the last one i wanted answers. So I went to a specialist and had every type of blood work done under the sun. Come yo find out my blood clots way to fast making it harder than hell for a pregnancy to make it. So i was put on a baby aspirin daily til I'm 36 weeks. I thank god everyday because while i was at my second appointment i found out i had gotten pregnant the night before the first appointment. I'm now 19 weeks and two days. So in some cases yes it can help.

Aspirin is a blood thinner and its best for mothers who have clotting issues so they won't miscarry! I just found out that I have a Vitamin K defiency which means my blood is not clotting like it should and too thin! So for me if I took aspirin I would be at more of a risk for bleeding and could miscarry! So I would say ask your doctor first! Let them run blood test on you especially a clotting test called aptt! Because you could be causing a miscarriage instead of preventing one

My friend is a nicu nurse and mentioned baby aspirin after my miscarriage in January. I think she said it has something to do with the MTHFR gene mutation and your blood clotting? I know your doctor has to test you for that. I haven't really looked into it much bc I'm hesitant to take anything unnecessary and my doctor never mentioned this after my miscarriage but I'm curious! It would be worth it if it prevents a miscarriage. I would definitely ask a doctor first though.

I've heard this on here before, but only on here. I think it's a rumor only because why would you take a pill to prevent miscarriage that the pharmacist tells you absolutely not to take of you're pregnant?

All I know is every other thing I have read says there isn't anything you can do. Nearly all miscarriages cannot be avoided, as they are due to genetic abnormalities leaving the baby unviable 😞

Sorry I don't have any idea. But I also had a miscarriage before and i'm so afraid now as i'm 5w1d pregnant. Let's hope for the best this time❤️
