Anyone else diagnosed with gestational diabetes who is also overweight? I've been diagnosed with GD since week 9 but I've been able to manage my sugars the whole time up until now I'm 28 weeks and now they want me to take 2.5 mg of Glyburide to get my fasting not sugars down. I was told today that I'll be induced week 39 if I haven't went into labor yet because the risk of still birth increases with being overweight and uncontrolled GD.. Anyone else in this situation. I cried at my midwife appt and just can't stop thinking about what I was told. I just want everything to be okay. I want Jaimee to be healthy and the rest of my pregnancy to go smoothly.
