Ftm and receiving upsetting news

I've been perfectly healthy the first two trimesters. At 33 weeks I was told I had thrombocytopenia. I met with the anesthesiologist today and was told that I can't have any pain relief, so epidural is out, spinal is out. All I can have is an iv or csection with General anesthesia. I'm happy she's healthy, but I really didn't want a csection.
