As long as your not high risk for preterm labor it's fine to breastfeed. Your supply will eventually decrease and then turn to colostrum for new baby. But your LO is old enough you should be able to maintain a good supply until they get close to or hit 12 months. Be sure to continue to nurse on demand so your body can produce enough milk for baby. If weight gain becomes an issue you might have to supplement. Good luck I BF boy my kids until around 20 weeks pregnant (but they were older 1.5 yrs old).
