Anti dandruff shampoo for cradle cap?

I was reading in a book to use an anti dandruff shampoo on babies head to help clear up cradle cap. Has anyone tried this and does it work? What other things work to help?

I always used baby oil and a comb to scratch it off. Poor babies. I can't believe cradle cap alone

My daughter's (she's 9 weeks old) pedi told me to use it on her 2x a week and not to put any scented lotions on her head. So I have been using aveeno lotion on her head after washing it and honestly within 2 days it has cleared up ALOT.

My mom would just rub baby oil on my head and let it sit for a while and then you wash it off after a few hours. You do this every couple of days. As I got older I had and still have bad dandruff not sure if the two are related, but she continued using that method on my until I was 13 or 14

A few of my relatives have used coconut and/or olive oil with good success.

My son had a ton of cradle cap when he was really small. I just used baby oil everyday until it was gone. Only took a couple days!
