Gums hurting ! Any1 els?

Im 20w2d ive been having pain on my gums & front teeth since lastnight ive also had headaches quite frequently for awhile now  as well & rn i have a damn cold !  Any1 els had pain in there gums? Idk if its because of my pregnancy or just something i need to see my dentist  about.

Gum issues are VERY normal. My gums have been bleeding pretty regularly when I brush. I had a cleaning a couple weeks ago, and my dentist said I have a few minor, so-called, "pregnancy tumors." Essentially they are little bubbles on the gums that cause bleeding. My doctor said to muscle through the bleeding and any pain (so long as it doesn't become unbearable) and continue brushing and flossing as I normally would.

Yes I actually had a gun infection early on in my pregnancy and had to go to the hospital. I was in severe pain and almost could not open my mouth. They prescribed me meds and that pretty much cleared Every thing up.

Just had this last week..couldn't even brush my teeth on one side because it hurt so bad. I went and had my teeth cleaned and found out I have gingivitis...very very common in pregnancy, as some have mentioned. Brushing, flossing, and using a mouthwash made for gum health will help heal it! I use Colgate gum health mouthwash twice a day and occasionally listerine. My gums feel soooooo much better, and no more bleeding! Good luck!

When you're pregnant you're gums get inflamed a lot easier and bloody! It's totally normal. Just make sure you floss regularly and brush by the gum line. 😁 I work for a dentist.

Gum pain is apparently a very normal pregnancy symptom because of increased blood flow to the gums. My dentist recommended using a soft bristle toothbrush. It's a good idea to make sure u go to the dentist at least once during your pregnancy because the increased blood flow can cause dental problems and greater risk for infection
