Baby Shower. Yes or No?

What do you expect to see at a babyshower. Centerpieces? Banners? Cake? Games? I need help I have a very judgemental family and I'm planning a baby shower for my brother and his fiancé

I am an event planner and doing  a few upcoming shower's. One is a modern rubber ducky theme (look at Pinterest for cute ideas) that one is going to have sandwiches and chips as well as a mimosa bar and a cookie bar. Mint and pineapple infused water. 
 A ton of traditional baby shower games.

The next shower is a lime green and pink babyQ (Bbq) at a local park. We are inlisting a few husbands to man the grill. There will be apps, beer, sodas and bbq food chicken hot dogs, potatoe salad and other Food you would see at a be. I love making stations like maybe a hamburger station with little mini hamburgers and was thinking about doing a strawberry short cake station.
There will be onsies to decorate with puff paint and stencils  and a few traditional games at that shower.

For my shower I was thinking of vintage tea party theme. With a lot of carts tables with umbrellas pretty China (mix and match) and a ton of little finger foods. Tea sandwiches, macaroons, tiny cupcakes, lots of fresh fruit coffee and tea and sparkling water. I'm not sure what else I want to do there.

Last winter I had a winter wonder land themed "Baby it's Cold outside" shower. Beautiful snow flake Decor everywhere. It reminded me a little of a frozen party I had but the mom to be was In love. I did a hot chocolate bar and the food was catered brunch.

In my family and the people of my mom's ethnicity that I personally know we usually have a big cake.  We make food. Some are ordered for the baby shower. Most family bring a plate after checking in with either parent to be. Presents are opened during the party. There's a looootttt of dancing. Usually family bring alcohol for themselves and afterwards family members help clean up. My baby shower was very much lively and a lot of family there from all over to celebrate. It's fun. We decorated the hall we rented and the theme was The lion king. Dad and I dressed a like. Didn't end till 3 am 😒

I am going to describe a typical baby shower for you, however this is my nightmare, I really hate most of the things they make you do at baby showers.
Usually there are games: diaper chocolate bar guess, clothes pin baby words game, guess the price or amount games etc. There are usually little prizes to the winner of each game. 
There should be some food, depending on the time of day, sandwiches and finger food or a BBQ is fairly typical. 
A cake.
Activities: this can include crafts: decorate a onesie, etc. Or games.

Then, if there are less than 50ish gifts, the mum to be will open them. Someone will need to help her keep a record of who have what. If it's a big shower then you don't have to open the gifts.
