Anyone else?

Is or has anyone else been 5 days late and went on to get a bfp? If so what were your symptoms and how often did you test? I tested yesterday afternoon after holding my pee for about an hour and im getting negative...I think ive given up on being pregnant this cycle because I would have tested positive yesterday....I just wish my period would come so I could try again....its so frustrating....
