Clomid? With pcos

Question

I've posted this like 2 other times but i didn't see it show lol. So I'm posting it here. Just wanted to know some info on clomid like how long have you ladies taken it to be successful ? How much did it cost? I'm just so anxious bc today was suppose to be my apt and my doc rescheduled on me 😕😥 any info would be great ! And helpful

I have pcos too. 
Here is my story:
I was on the lowest dose of clomid for one month(1st and only time taking it) if I remember correctly. The doctor did my ultrasound when I finished it and found 3 eggs(instead of one) ready to go. He had me use an otc ovulation kit after which I got pregnant. But I miscarried again(4th miscarriage total) at 7 weeks as usual. 
I switched back to my previous ob/gyn which handled difficult cases like mine. After switching back about 4 months later after no meds at all, eating healthy and losing 15-20 pounds I used another ovulation kit then got pregnant. Immediately after I found out I was pregnant my doctor saw me and made me take the lowest dose of progesterone and a baby aspirin until I was 6 months pregnant to avoid miscarriage. I carried 39 weeks 2 days and had a healthy baby boy.

Long story short clomid doesn't always help you. I almost ended up with triplets lol

Ask about progesterone, Baby aspirin, and minimizingyour sugar intake. My doctor told me that pcos mimicked diabetes(sugar problems). Diabetics sometimes have gyne problems due to their sugar levels. The previous doctor mentioned putting me on metformin. I minimized my sugar and junk food intake and avoided that medicine.

I have pcos too. I had ovulation every 6 month's and doctors told I didn't have chances without Clomid. I took it 2 months without success. Next month I took a break. I was so sure that I am not going to ovulate that I drunk a lot, relaxed and went for vacation not thinking anything. That month I got pregnant. I don't trust Clomid anymore

If you have insurance its not expensive. I only paid  $11 each cycle even though my insurance doesn't cover fertility meds. Used it in January 2016 got pregnant February 2016. Never had any side effects or anything.

I used clomid from april 2015 to november 2015 and got pregnant in december, it only cost me $38 a month. Sadly my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but my doctor will put me back on it when i get my next period since he thinks its the best thing for me. The only thing i do not like about it is that my mood swings are all over the place :/

I used femara instead of chlomid and HCG to trigger ovulation do each cycle consisted of both medications and two or three ultrasounds to check for the follicles it was $650 every cycle my second pregnancy took six cycles so it can definitely get a little pricey
