Meeting boyfriend for the 1st time

I'm almost 18 and I'm having my first boyfriend, I am actually so happy! I met him online, he told his parents about me but I just tried to reject him even though I liked him because I knew my parents would have not accepted someone over the Internet, plus he lives 100 miles away. He just kept saying he's not moving on and is sticking with me, so I made an effort to talk to my parents about it, and he's coming down this Saturday to meet them. My mum started bitching about it, while my dad just laughed and told me to be careful.
