Cramps

Hi please help, has anyone had like a dull ache / cramps in their calf(s) and then pins and needles in their foot/feet? Its been happening for a few days now on and off and im not sure if its because ive slept funny, pulled something or its something more serious? Im ringing doctors first thing but just wondered if anyone has experienced anything like it before?
