At 37 weeks we discovered that our baby girl was breech

At 37 weeks we discovered that our baby girl was breech. I wanted a natural birth and had been planning through the Bradley Method so the threat of a C section was devastating. We tried every non invasive method to turn her, to no avail.  I felt like I went through a grieving process giving up my birth preferences, my mantra becoming "She's healthy, she's healthy, she's healthy" to relieve some of the emotional pain. I kept a small bit of hope that maybe she would randomly turn. She didn't turn. At 8:04 am April 7, 2016 Ingrid came into the world through a great all female team of doctors and nurses (I really loved that part) who preformed the cesarean. She is 11 pounds and 4 ounces (BIG baby) and 21.25 inches long.
