Bleeding/period for 12 days?????

Have been bleeding light some days, heavy some days for 12 days straight!! 12!!!! What could this be? I'm on the mirena? Should I go to hospital or no?? Took pregnancy tests, says I wasn't pregnant either.

I have the copper and I bled for 10 days my second period after having it. I waited also, and it got back to normal

My first period after I got my mirena inserted I had a very light period/spotting for approximately 40 days and my doctor said that was 100% normal. It just depends on the person and how you react!

I had my period for a month and a half straight one time, idk why it happened I had been on the same birth control for months before it happened, it was so strange

I've had my IUD for 7 months and I keep bleeding. I have two week light periods and I never know when to expect them. Two days after my IUD was inserted my strings disappear, so I had an ultrasound to check the position and it's still in place.
