Hydrocortisone for a two month old?? Help

My infant has been breaking out on her face and body and the pedi gave her this but ppl keep telling me it's too strong for a two month old. Has anyone used this on their baby and if so did it work/help??

Hydrocortisone is fine but 2.5%?? I use 1% on my babies...I just get it over the counter

My son has eczema, was even worse as an infant. He was prescribed hydrocortisone but a much smaller percentage. I'd talk with the pediatrician and get a script. Oatmeal baths are helpful. Eucerin lotions as well, nothing with a sent! I've been dealing with poor skin for 5 years with my oldest. I went through everything. More oatmeal baths the better, you can use oatmeal (not quick oats) right from the cereal section at the grocery store. Much cheaper than spending money on packets they sell for the bath.

My daughter is gonna be a month sunday and has a rash on her face, neck, and chest. Her pediatrician prescribed her hydrocortisone with aloe. After one day so far, it improved and wasn't so red anymore. Hoping it clears it up.

You should try Aveeno If u using Johnson&Johnson it has too many chemical in it but Aveeno will really help and get the body wash for Avenno and the lotion my nephew skin was doing the same thing and he only 8mos and when he started using Aveeno he skin was clearing up within a few days

I just took a breastfeeding class and they said if you are breastfeeding you can use breastmilk for the baby breakout. The instructor advised on it and non ftm"s there said it had worked for them previously. I know if when I give birth my baby has breakout I will try breastmilk!
