Wish he'd text me! 😣

So yesterday I went on the 2nd date with a guy I've been talking to. The last date he texted me right after and we talked the rest of the night. After I got home yesterday he didn't text me it's almost 4 pm here and still hasn't contacted me. I thought I'd wait for him to text.. I guess if he doesn't then that's the end of it.. is it bad he hasn't talked to me since our date? It it a bad sign? Should I just text him?
