Yes, it most definitely should.  It's a medical problem just like anything else, why shouldn't insurance cover it?

Absaloutley not!!! Infertility is not a major medical issue. If you can't have a biological child, adopt one!!! There are so many children in this world who need loving homes. Why spend money on children who aren't even here, when we can't even take care of the ones who are. That's just selfish!!

If an insurance covers infertility, it better cover ALL birth control (not just the pill) and abortion.

I think it should be covered, but going off of what Katherine said - why should insurance cover just one aspect of fertility/women's health when abortion isn't covered?

If birth control and abortion aren't covered, infertility shouldn't be either. If you want the right to have a baby, I should have the right to NOT have one.

I really hope all of you people who are saying no never end up struggling with infertility it sucks big time. How is it hurting you if the insurance I pay for is paying for my treatment? ?

Yes and no, I think yes to cover your first child but maybe not so much for any other children you want.

My insurance won't pay for birth control or abortions but they will help with fertility treatments as well as adoption fees. It is a Catholic based company.

I was able to get my d and c covered, but initially they denied it, because while it was a miscarriage, because the paper work sated it was an abortion,. The doctors had to resubmit using another code

I think yes. I heard about a new thing where they are transplanting uteruses in Europe now. The first baby was born from it not that long ago. I would totally give my uterus to someone who needed it! :)

I think if there is no way for you to have a child. Then fertlity treatments should be covered as long as you have the means to care for the child.
