I used to re-buy bras every year because the support an shape would get destroyed in the machine and i never had time/patience to hand wash. Around ten years ago I bought something called a Bra Baby, as seen on tv item that target carried a while. I havnt had to re buy a Bra since, its famtastic. It's a plastic ball you wrap the cups around that goes in another ball like a little bra cage. It keeps it in the right shape so the mold doesn't get funny or dented, even in the dryer

I have about 15 bras. 2 of which I favor. When I wash them, I swoosh them through   vegetal soap so that it does get all soapy and take forever to rinse. I just submerge, pull it out above the water, rub the soap in, leave it to soak for about a minute, squeeze it out and hang to dry
