Help asap please *long but please read*
Okay so on March 25th, I went to the ER with severe pains in my lower right side. I was given a CT (without contrast) and they determined I had a stomach infection and my ovary was inflamed. "no big deal", they then sent me home with antibiotics and pain medicine. This is abnormal for me. I have a very very high pain tolerance.
Fast forward to Wednesday, I had been taking my medicine as prescribed and all that. My side was still hurting, I had no appetite, every time I ate I was nauseous and bloated (looked pregnant), and I had a migraine. I told my mom that I needed to go back to the doctor. She said, "okay well go after class tomorrow because you have a test." (We're both in college.)
She takes me back to the doctor on Thursday, I'm still hurting very badly. He said he thinks it might be a retrocical appendix. Orders a cat scan with contrast.
Finally, the CT says that I had a huge cyst on my ovary rupture. He prescribes new medicine and says you can go back to work on Tuesday. But go to a gyno asap.
Fast forward again, I woke up tonight having a high fever, aches, chills, pain in that same spot again, my legs are hurting badly and I can't go back to sleep.
Could this be a complication from the ruptured ovary or what?? I'm kind of worried. But I go to the gyno Monday.
(And no I'm not pregnant.)
