Nickname for Daphne?

I like the name Daphne but I'm worried people will shorten it to Daffy, especially as a baby. Any way to avoid this? Are there any other cute nicknames for Daphne I can call her so ppl don't use Daffy

My dogs name is Daphne (please don't take that the the wrong way) and we call her Daph for short. Nobody has ever called her Daffy.

I think Daffy sounds too much like Daphne that it would be really weird not to just go ahead and say Daphne. I never would have looked at that name and thought to say Daffy as a nickname! I don't think anyone else would either
