Rash from face wash?

So I've been using the Biore baking soda face wash for a couple months and when i got out if the shower yesterday my face looked like this and it was red behind my ear and down my neck a bit.  It didnt itch and it was more red in person. I havent changed anything shampoo/conditioner/body wash wise. Any thoughts on why my skin would react to it months later?

Any chance you have a gluten or sugar intolerance? One of the main ingredients in this cleanser is sorbitol which is a sugar that could aggravate intolerances.

It looks like you need to quit using it. It could also be the water. I went allergic to the chemicals in the water so I get the same rash every shower.
Do you have lupus? It also looks like a lupus rash

Anything with baking soda is horrible for drying out skin!  Use a cortisone cream to get rid of the rash.

I use face washes too and I got this the other day and every once in a while. I think it usually happens when I have just had a shower which makes my pores open. I suggest to stop using it for a day or two because my skin usually gets very dry when this happens so just put moisturiser on. Don't worry about it unless it does it every time you put it on and burns.
