Any of you ladies using compression socks or stockings?

I'm on my feet for the most part of my 12hr shift as a nurse and by the time I get home my feet and legs are killing me! I also sometimes get these nasty leg cramps that wake me up from my sleep.

I'm going to talk to my Dr about it but do any of you have any experience using them? Did they help?

I'm an RN and I've always worn compression socks. My feet/legs feel much after 12 hours with them on! I continue to wear them now at 18wks!!!

I'm a nursing student, so I only have 1 12 hour clinical each week, but I've always worn compression stockings when I'm there. I find it helps my feet be less swollen at the end of the day, and it's definitely way better now that I'm pregnant!

I wear compression stockings and socks but only because I currently have DVTs and have had them reoccurring for the last 3 years.

As a nurse I wore them before pregnancy and am continuing to do so now.

My doctor gave me a prescription for maternity compression Stockings. I'm also a nurse and have been having bad leg pains and muscle twitches. I told my doctor and she prescribed more vitamins for me
