Baby shower budget ?!?

This is my first baby and I'm to controlling to let someone else plan my shower. However I have out multiple people in charge of certain things, such as decor, refreshments, cakes and sweets, and party favors. 
I'm curious how much the budget should be so far is est about $300 for food, favors and the sweets table I wanted to create. Is that to much; 
I'm doing a coed bbq in the park since I'm having a summer shower I want it to be more relaxed and picnic themed

I threw a shower a few weeks ago for a friend. It was just a simple shower at my house with around 25 ladies and I easily spent 500$.

150 people having it at a ranch house in Southern California and budget is $1,500 (coed)

It's all in what you want. My mom is doing everything so u have absolutely no idea how much it will be. But it's going to be a back yard bbq, coed party. My hubby wanted to celebrate with us.

I know she will have it catered and she has been talking with a friend about doing a garden theme. We have all our burlap & lace wedding decorations still so they will go well and save her some $.

Sooo excited for the shower.

My NY baby shower budget is $1000. I found a cure carousel to rent for $450 in a park close by so I plan on using the rest of the money for decor, food, beverage, decor, & chair rentals. This shower is both men & women Latin style party. Can't wait! June 12!
