What was the first method of birth control you ever used?

Is it still the main method of birth control you use today? Why, or why not, did you switch?

The shot and it caused me to gain 30lbs in 6 months so it was totally not worth it! Got on the pill after that and haven't looked back since, going on ten years on the pill.

I've tried the pill, patch, ring and now I'm on the Mirena. The pill was the one that gave me the worst side effects, patch gave me headaches, ring was awesome until I started getting vaginal irritation and now so far no side effects from Mirena ?

When i was 16 i was on the pill, they werent helping as my periods were really heavy at that stage. Then few yrs later i got the depo shot for bout 7yrs and now im back on the pill and i also take provera pill for extra hormonal balance

When I was 16 I went on the shot. At 18 I went on nuvaring. At 19 now I'm using FAM with condoms.

My mom made me get on birth control pills before I was even sexually active, so basically for no reason. I would never take the pill or I'd forget so she made me get the Implanon my senior year of high school. Still didn't need it then but I'm glad I have it now.
