8th grade sex? Wtf

I'm in 8th grade and half of the kids already had sex. (Too young.) and people keep asking me if I want/have had? What do I say?

While I can't tell you what to say, I can tell you that many of your classmates (especially the boys) are most likely lying about their sexual experiences. This starts early - and doesn't stop until you are in your 20s.

My husband and i both waited untill we were married for kissing and sex... We were never shy telling people that we were waiting because we felt very strongly that until we made the commitment to each other lawfully and biblically then it was wrong to take that from eachother... It was so worth it! And so when/if we got asked if we had slept together or kissed or anything..we would simply but sternly say that we were waiting! And people respected that! Your peers may not respect it.. But thats because they are upset that u are more mature as to just give yourself away to anyone...

I had sex at the end of 9th grade. I was safe about it, it wasn't with a boyfriend - it was with a close friend. I don't regret it, but I see a lot of my cousin's friends now (in 8th grade) having unprotected sex and it scares me. At the time I was on the pill for my periods and we used condoms. But these kids do none of this. Eek.

I had sex in the 8th grade and got pregnant. I miscarried because I was much too young to carry a baby and my body was not ready. Or atleast that's what I tell myself. I thought I was ready but I wasn't. I wasn't even emotionally ready in high school. I believe that everyone should at least wait until senior year. You may not be completely ready then but you can atleast make somewhat of a better decision. There's not one day that goes by that I don't think about my baby.

You're a very intelligent person for realizing 8th grade is much too young. Especially for being so young and in today's world. You're a special person, not very many like you. I lost my virginity at 16 to someone I thought I knew and loved, and now being 23, I realize that I wasn't ready for all the emotions you feel after having, many you never expect. I stayed with him for 2 years because of that and he was very abusive. Of course, he never showed me his true self until after we had sex because he knew then I'd feel obligated to stay and too guilty to leave. Plus, now I'm with a man that I wish SO badly I could give him that precious gift. But because of my bad choices, I will NEVER be able to do that. Losing your virginity is PERMANENT. I hope you wait until you're older, I don't want you to live with the same regrets that many of us do. And a good response to your classmates could be "A lady/gentleman never tells" or "A lady/gentleman never kisses and tells"

I am so happy that you realize you are too young. I lost my viginity when I was 18 and I still regret it, even though I am married now. I wish I waited until I was married. Tell your friends that you are not ready and if they pressure you, you need to find new friends.
