Back and rib pain!! Anyone else?

So this morning I tweaked my back for the second time in three weeks.  What keeps happening (from my best guess) is that the ligaments around my ribs/back area are so stretched out that they are easily pulled.  Prenatal massage does very little.  Doctor calls it a spasm and basically says too bad just rest.  But we have a toddler and that's easier said than done.  My husband is amazing and is doing so much but he also has to get some work done.  Rib cage area is sore and it hurts to make sharp movements.  Pain subsides when I relax.  Rotating hot showers and ice packs.  Any other advice?!  Please, anyone with insight....I would appreciate it.
