Disappointed in baby reveal

Martha • Mom of two incredible little boys!
My husband and I wanted to find a special way to reveal the rainbow pregnancy to my older brother. So for his 31st birthday (he just got married- no children of his own yet), we bought a $115 MLB jersey with the name "Uncle Jake" written and his favorite baseball players retired number. He's a major MLB fan and we were sooo excited!
So I asked my sister in law if she'd be willing to film him opening the present since we couldn't be there. She seemed reluctant. The day the box arrived she asked me if I was pregnant. I couldn't lie, so I said yes. She called me up and said she wanted to be honest. She doesn't think it's a good idea to record him because he's probably not going to react the way we want. She didn't want to disappoint us.
I'm almost 22 and my husband is 25. He was disappointed when I left college my junior year, but understood it was for health reaons and then I fell in love and got married. He was so excited that I found a job that I loved (which I just recently left). I know I'm 9 years younger and he feels like I'm his little sister.
But I feel horrible. We put a lot of time and effort into this and I really thought we were going to get a happy reaction. He opened the box an hour ago and I never heard from him. So I texted my sister-in-law and she said "give him a few days to get excited. I promise you he will. I feel horrible. Am I over reacting???
