What happened to the honeymoon stage?

How do you get your relationship back to the honeymoon stage, where you're not arguing and you're so in love? Can it happen, or will you never end up being that happy again?

That only happens with people that match. The ones that understand and respect each other. Otherwise, when resentment settles in.... I don't think there's is a way back. That's why so many people divorce, 50%They say. I say 50% divorce and 30% are terribly unhappy in their marrige but they stay for various reasons. Kids, pets, money. Then you have the 20% that match, love, respect and stay together until the end of their lives. The ones that die shortly after the other because they can't and they don't know how to live without his half. The ones that we all wish we were part of but we just got the shorter stick.

We never left that stage, but I'm sure it's not too late. Don't stop dating your spouse. Get out of the routine and do something unexpected or new together. It's never too late to dream and try to reach those goals together.

Time apart!! Not like breaking up. But you need time to miss each other. Go on a girls trip or something like that. Or if you can afford buy him tickets to see his favorite team play out of town & while you're gone send him sexy pics & texts about what you're going to do to him when you get home. My SO and I have been together for two years. We've known each other for 17 years. We never really lost it. Idk, we just give each other time to miss each other. He goes out to do his thing during the day and I do mine. I give him the respect of being a man and I don't nag him about anything unless it's really important. We both have been married before so we know to pick our battles. We talk and tell the truth about everything even if it hurts. But the hurt doesn't last long because we love each other. At the end of the day we can't stand to be outta each others sight. We are now pregnant with our first child together. We both have children from prior relationships. We also make time to spend together to see a movie or go out to lunch/dinner/breakfast when we both have free time. That's all I can say.
