Our little fighter

Megan
Graysen was due May 14. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia on my 32 week appointment. At my 34 week appointment, the doctor thought  he missed a twin due to how huge I was. It turns out I had extra fluid and Graysen had servere swelling as well. We were sent to a specialists and the next day was scheduled for an emergency c section. The doctor told us that our chances of living were very low. Graysen came out kicking and trying to scream. He weighed 6lbs when he was born and a week later he weighs 4 lbs. I had lost 21 liters of fluid during the csection. The top picture was the progression of his fluid being drained. He was diagnosed with hydrops. He is doing so much better and today his left chest tube gets taken out today! God is so good. He is going in the right direction and i cant wait to hold him and bring him home.
