Am I wrong??

My husband has a work fishing trip coming up at the end of May. It happens to be right over our sons preschool graduation. Is it wrong that I'm mad at him for going?? I just feel like our sons heart will be broken if his dad isn't there! Am I overreacting?

I don't see what the big deal is. It's really just pre-k. I don't see how or why parents make such a huge deal over every little accomplishment that's totally expected. Pre-k graduation? Really?

If it's for work doesn't he have to go. If he has options that's a different story. But I would never interfere with my husbands employment, or advancements. Tbh though now Adams they have a ceremony every year it's annoying. When my older ones were little it was for the big ones kinder 5th 8th ect now it's every year so I'm sure they will be more

Sure with technology they can speak before and let his daddy see him all dressed smart etc?  Unfortunately when u work u sometimes miss stuff.  Can hardly get kids from 0-18 without missing something!  Have a special meal or something when he gets back and look through the photos etc.  Get him to put his smart stuff on again!  When he is an adult he will still respect his dad for providing for u all and forgive him for the stuff he missed.

Can there not be compromise i mean how far away is this trip?  Can he not come back for the event and then head back out for the rest of the weekend?  Or just be a little late for the trip??

I don't think he should go or he should go after the graduation. That's a milestone in a child's life.

Yes I would be upset over something like this as well , people saying it's not a big deal it's just preschool it is a big deal tho you're baby is growing up and as a parent anything that involves you're child is a big deal
