Mucinex and conceiving?

Question

I'm just curious to see if taking mucinex actually helped anyone get pregnant, and if so how much of it did you take and how long did you take it? Trying to decide if I want to try it this cycle or not. Just looking for opinions form other ladies who may have tried it!

I have seen many positive reviews on using it saying they finally got pregnant, but I've also seen a lot of those say they finally got pregnant but miscarried because it thinned their CM too much the baby couldn't implant properly.

I tried it one month and it didn't work at all :(. But then again I only tried once. I have scoured the Internet and heard persuasive arguments from both sides. It's pretty clear that decongestants like that do thin up your cervical mucous a bit. Some think that this helps the sperm out and others say that this gets rid of mostly the good mucous that can help convey the sperm to the egg. No idea who is right!
