Birth Control for Acne?

I have moderate cystic acne and plan on getting a birth control prescription to help regulate the hormone related breakouts I have. I know my doctor could answer these questions but I want to hear from some ladies that noticed a certain pill made them breakout or clear up. Any tips about which birth control options effect your weight would be helpful as well :)

I had the same problem for a very long time i had acne all over my face and i could not get rid of them i used almost every skin products on the planet but didnt work so i went to a doctor and had a hormone test and she told me to take birth control pills and i could finally see my face without ance but it actually take 4 months so if u started taking the pills dont expect them to work right away u should be patient but then they will go away for ever, it really works trust me

Birth control actually made my acne worse. I was on Aviane for 4 years and it was moderately bad acne. And I just got off the pill about a month ago and my skin is already SOOOO much better. One way I kept my acne at bay was with perfectly posh skin care line.
