Period at 6 week checkup?

Thursday is my 6 week postpartum check up, but I got my period. I've had it for 6 days now, so I'm hoping by Thursday it'll be over, but it's kinda heavy. So I doubt.

Anyway, should I call and reschedule, or do docs still see PP patients while on period?

I would think they would still see you but you can always call and ask, after all some people have pp bleeding that lasts until like 8 weeks peso who knows

My Dr didn't do a 6w check. She did a 3w check for me cuz I was in with my daughter for a check for her because she was really sick with a bad cold. But you can always reshedule if you want to or you can just go. My Dr just made sure I didn't have any tears or bruising that would've shown up after I went home.
