Not really sure where to post but im upset

Warning: going on a mom rant right now.

First, I will start by saying that I know that everyone has different beliefs than my son & I. I am always careful to tell my son not to force what he believes on another person unless they ASK & he can give an explanation as to why it is what he believes.

Anyway, we have been learning about the fact that we are made in Gods image, God made man.

This morning, my grandfather was reading an article about us coming from monkeys. Michael just sat there & my grandpa says, did you know that Michael? & Michael replies by saying, no grandpa, that's not what I believe in can we talk about something else? So my grandpa starts telling Michael, actually arguing with him, that he was wrong & that we came from monkeys because the bible is not true & science is.

Like I said, I know not everyone believes what we do but if Michael is kind & doesn't say anything to you about his faith and asks to discuss something else as not to cause an issue, why argue with him about what you believe? Not to mention he is SIX!

I didn't say anything but it really upset me & Michael as well.
