How did you know labor was approaching?

I'm always tired now and don't want to do anything but sleep and when I eat I can't eat much anymore or I feel really sick..lol I just want to be lazy..

I know what you mean. I'm 36weeks and 5days. I'm so tired all the time, have aches and pains and the worst heartburn ever!!! Even water gives me heartburn! I'm so ready!😩

I'm 35 + 3 and I am the laziest person in the world one minute and then the crazy nesting mom the next, I feel like I'm loosing my mind!!!!! I can't sleep, I have the worst acid reflux, I'm ready for the "invasion of the body snatcher" to be over and hold my baby and feel like myself again. I had my daughter at 39 weeks 3 years ago and I'm hoping for that again this time.

34w5d here and have definitely hit the lazy days.  I remember that with my first, but it seemed to hit a little later.  I was induced with her, though, so not sure about the natural progression from here.  I am definitely feeling more BH and occasional cramping than I have the last couple of weeks.  Told my husband I don't think we will make it til edd.  But, we will see.  As long as we make it through to 37w I will be happy.

I felt ill in the day leading up to labor - like really bad PMS or coming down with the flu. Tired, cranky, sore, discombobulated.

With my first, I was induced five days past EDD. But I was so pissed and grumpy and rude the last few weeks.

With this pregnancy I am borderline Mary Poppins. My mom is always asking "are you alright?" Cause everyone is used to me being bitchy and sarcastic. But I do feel like complete shit and I look like complete shit. I feel dehydrated asf but I'm drinking 4+ glasses of water almost every hour, I have diarrhea for days and whenever I feel good enough to get up I'm scarfing down 5 separate meals in one sitting 😂 I just want to lay in bed all day while my LO reads to me

37 weeks 3 days and am starting to just feel tired and ready to be not pregnant any more. Every night I've gone to bed thinking okay tonight will be the night and I will wake up in labor.....not happened yet. I've tried to stay positive but i don't have the energy anymore. Induction scheduled for 39 weeks....keep telling myself only 12 more days to go! Would really like this tiredness to lead to labor and not have to be induced!

There's no universal experience, but a lot of women experience a burst of energy (leads to "nesting") in the days before labor. Other women, right before labor begins, will actually feel tired and achy - almost like they have the flu.
