Trying for a baby can be stressful, but one always has to find little moments of humor. I stopped by wal mart last night after work to pick up an armful of pregnancy tests the internet convinced me I needed, as I was too impatient for amazon. As I came closer to my destination, I noticed a gaggle of teen boys in the family planning aisle, giggling and furtively eyeing the condoms. Sensing an opportunity for a "teachable moment" aka, a chance to make some kids blush aka parenting practice, I swooped in, and said loudly " you boys better pick the right ones or else your girl will be here buying these" at which point I collected my pregnancy tests and flounced off. To those kids actual parents...you're welcome.
