Hiccups and position

My last appointment around 32 weeks baby was head down but I get worried that I'm feeling hiccups near my side or hip, does she mean she's still head down? Still feels like legs kicking my ribs. Also, she seems to hang on my left side, should she be straight up and down? I'm only 5'1
