My ex and I split up awhile back, we were engaged for over a year and it has been hard for us to leave each other alone. We have hooked up and tried just being friends but we both have told each other we still love one another. He gave me out engagement rings to hold onto and I never understood why he wouldn't sell them especially once he said he wanted to move on and start dating again. Recently he contacted me and told me he ran into some financial trouble and I offered to help him and also sell the rings, but he still is saying no. Word for word he said "the rings aren't going anywhere". I'm really confused why he doesn't want to sell them or take them back, should I be reading into this?? What is your opinion.?
