What to feed my 10 month old?!

My 10 month old daughter loves food! Like literally she loves to eat, but she is a little behind as she didn't start solids as early as she was supposed to, and she isn't very good with certain finger foods, I couldn't give her things like sticks of apple of raw carrot, she just gags and chokes!

My health visitor suggested trying softer things but I'm so scared she is going to choke! I need to get her off of eating jars too as I want her to have home cooked meals.

Does anyone have any good breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas for my 10 month old?

My daughter went from formula to solids. She HATED baby food from jars. We just gave her what we ate but cut it really really small and we never put it infront of her we fed get one piece at a time. She turns 1 the 20th and is just barely getting to feed herself. Babies are probably gonna choke a few times but its nothin a hooked finger or a couple pats on the back can't fix.

At ten months? Does baby have a mouthful of teeth or something? Raw carrots are one of the hardest raw veggies out there. Apples also require teeth. Cooked soft food may be best. What does her doctor say?

Real cut up spaghetti. Teeny tiny pieces. My brother and son used to love it but the noodles are so small that it won't make them choke.

All the babies I know who did baby led weaning absolutely love pasta at that age - I keep bags of different shapes in the cupboard so there's always something quick and easy for them. I'll just add some chopped tomatoes and roast chicken or tuna or some grated cheese with plain boiled pasta shapes (i use big ones that are easy to pick up for them - tbh they'd be happy with the pasta plain on its own too). It's quick,  easy,  cheap and they love it.

Apple and raw carrot are not recommended at all due to choking hazard, along with grapes. The best foods to try our avocados, bananas, eggs, and anything of that sort of soft texture. You can try giving her other sorts of steamed vegetables, as long as they have that softer texture. But you should know that they do gag a lot when they are first starting out on solids. And you should arm yourself by knowing the baby Heimlich maneuver just in case. However, usually if they choke, they gag and vomit before anything seriously dangerous happens.

Just as a quick side note ladies, i never attempted giving her raw carrot or Apple, the reason I mentioned it was because upon searching online, so many women say to give your babies raw veg sticks at 10 months and I was just shocked, as a lot of my friends suggested the same but I just couldn't physically do it as she barely deals with lumps let alone raw veggies but apparently (it says online) raw veggies and apple are good for teething but I darednt xx
