When to tell people you are expecting

When did everyone start telling people they were expecting?

This is my second pregnancy and with our first we told people almost right away.

However, since we now have a 5 yr old little boy who has been praying for a sibling for over 2 years now, I worry about telling too soon. I'm only 4 wks + 1 and my hubby really wants to start telling people. I hate to be a worry wart but I don't want something to happen and then we have to tell our son different.

I was about 9 wks when we told everyone! We were gonna wait until our first appointment at 11 wks but I was tooooooo excited lol

I'm pregnant with my second and so far we have only told family and super close friends. I won't tell everyone else or make a Facebook announcement until.... maybe 12-15 weeks. I'm currently 11 weeks today.

We told parents and our own siblings right away. Everyone else between 12 and 13 weeks. Told our 3 year old around 9 weeks.

First pregnancy and hubby and I decided not to post on fb and to tell people in person. We told family on Christmas in s Christmas card, we were 9 weeks. I think it depends on you, do what you want to do ☺️

We told family & close friends right away, everyone else we waits til like 8-10 weeks. It's really hard for me to keep my mouth shut!  When we found out the gender we made a volcano for our older daughter (8) that had pink lava come out. We recorded her setting the volcano off and showed everyone the video.
