The Morning Sickness Begins
4 weeks 3 days, and all these little insights are telling me I'm not supposed to be sick yet. But oh how wrong they are. I hadn't had any symptoms before today, beside the random hot flash and the occasional boob throbbing, aversions to foods. But today. I woke up wanting to crawl out of my skin.
It started last night--my hubby brought home McDonald's (at my request, the only thing that sounded good at all) and I napped while he went to get it. He brought it back and woke me up. When I woke up to eat, I felt damn near dreamlike, as if I hadn't fully woken up. I was lightheaded and dizzy, and losing my balance a little. I pretty much figured that I just needed to drink some water and go to bed, so I did. But this morning when I woke up, I really got it. Full on nausea, sensitivity to light and sound. It was terrible. I tried to go about my day, but it didn't work, I ended up just laying on the floor and going to sleep, out of pure exhaustion and just feeling yucky. Now that I've slept most the day away and still feel tired and like crap, I'm sitting here wondering why my symptoms decided to come on full force. Last pregnancy I wasn't sick at all until 8 weeks. Is anybody else around 4 weeks and getting morning sickness hard already?
