Can secondhand pot smoke be harmful to baby?

So I just moved into an apartment. Been here for 4 weeks now. Have been having issues with one of the neighbours (not sure if it's the people beside or below us) smoking pot. It's almost a daily thing. My 4 year old says "it stinks in here." Could breathing in the fumes be harmful to my son and my baby? Just want some opinions. We are going to start complaining about it. I'm not paying $1020 a month to breathe in pot!

You can complain to the office, if they won't do anything, call the cops (if it's illegal in your state).

Cigarette smoke is harmful, pot smoke is not. But if it is annoying you, I'd tell your landlord.

Second-hand and third-hand smoke are toxic, even if it's from pot. I'd be super annoyed and would report the neighbors. I wouldn't confront them directly in case they were aggressive or vindictive.

Had the same problem with my neighbor in a duplex I kept calling the police since my management company wouldn't do anything. Of course cigarettes weren't illegal since the lease didn't say anything against those but marijuana is illegal no matter what.

Second hand smoke is definitely bad for you and your toddler. It's dirty air and if you can smell it then you're breathing it. You should definitely complain, especially before your baby is born.

Definitely call your landlord. That is not right and is disrespectful to you as neighbors.   If the landlord won't do anything then call the cops.

We had the same issue a couple months ago, it was so bad that it was affecting my daughter because it was mainly in her room. It was also in mine and my husband's closet making his work clothes smell like pot. We complained to the rental office and they took care of it right away. You need to mention that your child is being bothered by it and they will more then likely deal with it right away.
