When to see a gyno

When should you start going to the gyno? I'm  13 and I want to go for just a check up but I don't know if I'm old enough and how would I tell my mum I want to see the gynaecologist?

If you're sexually active or once you've started your period.

If your not sexually active you don't have to go till your 18

If you're sexually active you should go. Depends on the doctor when they'll do an exam. I started getting pelvic exams at 17 but didn't get an actual Pap smear till I was 21. It all depends on your needs

Anytime but usually they don't do exams or anything until you're 21. That's just how my doctors are.
