How did/will you tell family?
I told my mum and dad I had some news up my sleeve and pulled out a pregancy test! They were delighted :-)
I told my husband I had bought some nice new lingerie because I wanted to prove him right in his earlier statement that I would make be very sexy pregnant! He said he guessed beforehand because I was grinning so much! I got a big kiss and he told me he was very happy!
We asked my inlaws if they had any plans for June yet and they were confused for a bit as we just grinned at them, but then they got it. My husband had brought round champagne (and some shloer he had thoughtfully picked out for me without my knowing!) and they took us out for dinner to celebrate.
I let my mum tell my brother as I wouldnt see him untill xmas otherwise and he is quiet on the phone. She showed him holiday snaps and at the end there was one of me holding up a baby grow mum had bought for the baby. He say is she?! And then rang me up to say awwww! It was a lovely call!
It's such fun telling people. How did/will you tell your friends and family?
I always likes the idea of lining people up to take a photo and then saying "Everybody say x & x are having a baby!" Instead of "cheese" so as to capture their reactions, but decided I preferred not to have to look through the camera and miss the real moment
