IVF and the long wait
It's my first IVF round. Was diagnosed with endometriosis 4 years ago, and after ttc with negative results, we went to a fertility clinic to get some more tests. Turns out I have very low AMH levels and doctors said I'm a candidate for IVF.
The process was without a doubt exhausting! I had so many side effects after the shots and was in tremendous paind after the extraction. We had 5 eggs and 3 of those turned into embryos. They implanted 2 embryos 5 days later. I was told it was a good thing that they were able to survive for 5 days and didn't need an earlier transfer. They implanted them on Monday 11/4. One of the embryos was much bigger than the other.
The wait is so stressful it's only been a couple of days but I am so afraid to be disappointed again! For now I am just feeling some cramps and nausea (wich could be due to the meds they are giving me).
Anyone else felt different symptoms post transfer? And how did you handle the wait!
