Transitioning to crib!?

Anyone have some advice on transitioning to crib? My baby is 4 months old on Sunday & has always slept in his rock & play sleeper but his feet are beginning to hang off 😂 and when I put him for naps in his crib he flinches a lot, pulls his feet up and wakes up within minutes and cries 😓 I'll try anything!

Same situation here! My daughter was always in the rock n play but last week I noticed she was stretching her legs out at night and her head/neck didn't seem as comfortable. I saw a few tips online, so we put a few books underneath her crib mattress to elevate it a little, and then put a rolled up towel under her crib sheet so she still feels somewhat secure like in the rock n play. In the picture you can kind of see how we have the towel in a 'U' around her (I took the loose blanket off before I went to bed). We started on Sunday and so far all four nights have gone the same as before so it seems to be working! Eventually we'll take out the towel and lower the books but it seems to be a good way to get her used to the space.

We had our daughter in the rock and play all the time until about a month ago. What helped us is Baby Merlins Magic Sleep Suit! Helps keep her on her back in the crib and i think she likes how cozy it feels. $40 and its worked really well. Washes up very well even after a blowout.

I transitioned my son a couple of weeks ago to his crib. He usually ends up back in the rock n play around 5am. He wakes up about every 2-2.5 hours in the crib. We haven't been very successful... He won't nap longer then 15 minutes in his crib but does better at night
