Irregular after Miscarriage

I am so confused I have ALWAYS had a normal cycle sine I was 11yrs old, I have had my ovaries looked at during pregnancy was told they were normal rule out PCOS then I miscarried since then I have had a 44day cycle went to a different obgyn and was told I have PCOS (out of no where) & am now takn Metformin makes no sense to me any opinions on what I can do take have my cycle back to normal again?
