Would you date someone that had HIV?

Would you date someone that has HIV? I met this really great guy and we have been talking. He told me he likes me, and I like him too. He also said before we get any further with our possibly blooming relationship, that he has HIV. He didn't get it from sleeping around and having unprotected sex. He got it from his mother so it was clearly not his fault. I would just like some honest opinions please.
