Pill vs implant???

Question

I am currently on the pill, which I take exactly on time each day. Would the implant be more effective? I'm not worried about forgetting to take my pill it's just effectiveness wise. My so uses condoms every time. Also are there any pros or cons with the implant? Should I switch or stay on the pill? Comments/ help are much appreciated 😊

I suggest you speak to your doctor about it. From what I've seen and heard side effects are more common with the implant.

I'm in the same situation. The implant, according to statistics, is more effective than the pill (99.7% vs 99.95%). However, 4 of my friends have had the implant, and all 4 of them have had it removed within the first year of having it because of the side effects. One of them bled the whole time she had it in, so I'm not sure if I want to get it :/

Talk to your Dr. The implant is not for everyone. I was on the shot for years only "side effect" my period stopped. Switched to implant and I had every side effect and then plenty more. Everyone is different.

I currently have the implant and it makes my period so irregular and before I got it I never had cramps.. but not for some reason I do VERY bad. and here recently I've been on my period for nearly a month... it's a pain honestly. but it's different for everyone. some people won't even have a period with the implant it just depends on how your body reacts to it.

I just got my implant removed two days ago after a year. I thought it was going to be nice, but I've had constant nausea since I got it. It made me really sick, to the point that I was in the hospital three times this past month. I didn't have a period for an entire year, so it screwed up all my hormones. It's different for everyone, but my experience was awful!
